Animated Short “Project Achilles”

An animated short exploring the nature of human legacy in a postapocalyptic world through the lens of a character burdened with carrying memories of humanity that created him. The movie challenges the humanity’s relation to leaving a trace and anxiety of being remembered.

Khrystyna Saiko

Driven by the idea of creating powerful films, I strive to contribute and learn, grow as an artist while telling stories that resonate.

Through exploring styles and concepts, trying challenging approaches I try to pose questions through my work and invite the audience to reflect on such.

One of my biggest professional goals is to create films that are visually compelling while communicating meaningful ideas, that address the issues by exploring different lenses, and utilize contemporary technology for such. I want my films to be appealing enough to draw attention and tell stories thrilling enough to make a viewer stay and reflect on the concept brought up. I aim to use technology and animation as tools to support narrative depth and emotional impact.
